Send to KindleGini stole this one from me yesterday, but that’s OK. I’m always glad to help her out.
Three brothers who work on their family’s cattle farm in Manhattan….Kansas, that is, record a video: an agricultural version of LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I Know It”. They post the video on YouTube on Monday. They create a Facebook page on Tuesday, and by Wednesday it’s all over their local and state news. By Thursday they reach a million views, and by Friday they’re in New York City and on Fox News.
At the time of this writing they are nearing 2-million views.
This is a testament to how effective video can be as a marketing tool. It wasn’t planned as such, but it is now the “poster child” for their family business, as well as the agricultural industry and family farming. Plus, one of the brothers, Greg Peterson, has his own Facebook page as a musician. Check out his music; you might be impressed with his piano playing ability!
An inexpensive video, a lot of creativity, and a lot of luck. What can you do with video to put yourself on the digital map?
So sit back and enjoy the Peterson Brothers, and “I’m Farming and I Grow It”.
