The Social Life of Frank & Linh: Happy Anniversary!

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of having The Social Life of Frank & Linh here on the Inkling Media blog every Sunday. In honor of the occasion, Jeff Burkholder has changed the format from the typical one-panel strip to a larger strip.

I’d like to take the time to thank Jeff for creating this original comic for me each week. Jeff and I first met via Twitter and Facebook about 4 years ago and also got to know him and his family in person. I originally went to Jeff two years ago and asked him to create a comic related to social media, and Frank & Linh is what he came up with. Over the past two years Jeff has touched on everything from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and blogging to Google +, Google Buzz, and even Pinterest. You can even go back in the way-back machine and check out the very first installment.

I asked Jeff if he would say a little something about his two years of drawing the comic:

It’s been a real kick to do this strip. I was uncertain how long a single-panel, largely-static comic strip that focuses on social media could last, but every week brings an embarrassment of riches of possible new topics!
