As more of us are living our lives online and doing business online, it’s becoming increasingly important for us to make sure we are monitoring what is being said about us and our businesses.
Through RSS feeds, Google Alerts, and a variety of other tools, we have the ability to keep up with what others are saying about us. We can’t ignore what the public thinks about our brand, and how they are articulating that online. We need to use these tools wisely and regularly.
And because monitoring is so important, I decided to make it the topic of this week’s On the Porch with Ken video. In it I discuss why you need to monitor your brand, as well as what can happen if you fail to pay attention.
